Vin Diesel Reveals Riddick Concept Art

Fans of Vin Diesel’s space-badass Riddick have been waiting seven years for a sequel that seems perpetually stuck in development hell. While Diesel himself has always remained optimistic, the fact is for quite a time it seemed that 2004′s The Chronicles of Riddick was going to be the last we saw of the regime-toppling, alien-slaying anti-hero we were introduced to in Pitch Black.

But recently the third film has seen a spark in activity and seems to be on its way to principal photography. Diesel himself just released a piece of concept art on his very own Facebook page, which you can see below. Now, it isn’t exactly casting news or, for that matter, the most interesting piece of concept art I’ve ever seen. But darn it, I’ll take what I can get.
